18 U.S.C. § 2257 Compliance Statement

1. Platform Status

Aligned (operated by J4 Enterprises LLC, d/b/a Aligned) is a user-generated content platform. Aligned does not create, produce, direct, manufacture, film, issue, publish, or advertise any depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct. User-uploaded content is created and uploaded by individual users. Aligned's role with respect to that content is limited to transmission, storage, retrieval, hosting, formatting, and provision of access.

Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2257(h)(2)(B)(v) and 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c)(4), the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and § 2257A do not apply to Aligned with respect to user-uploaded content.

2. User Obligations

Where user-uploaded content may constitute a depiction of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 or § 2257A, the uploading user is the primary producer and all record-keeping obligations under those statutes belong to that user.

By uploading content, you represent, warrant, and agree that:

• All persons depicted are 18 years of age or older at the time of production.
• You have obtained and maintain all records required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and § 2257A, including valid government-issued photo identification for every person depicted.
• You will produce those records upon any lawful request.
• You have all rights necessary to upload, display, and distribute the content through the Service.
• The content does not depict any person under 18 in any sexual context.
• The content does not constitute child sexual abuse material as defined by applicable federal law.

Violation of any of these representations is grounds for immediate permanent account termination and may result in reporting to law enforcement, including referral to NCMEC and cooperation with any resulting investigation.

3. Age Verification

All users must confirm at account creation that they are at least 18 years of age. Date of birth is collected and verified against the minimum age requirement. Accounts where the stated date of birth indicates the user is under 18 are rejected at the point of creation.

Aligned offers optional identity verification through a third-party provider requiring government-issued photo identification and a live selfie for biometric matching. We receive only a pass/fail result and a verification token. We do not store copies of government identification documents.

Aligned reserves the right to require identity verification at any time as a condition of continued access to the Service or to specific features.

4. Content Safety

All user-uploaded photos and videos may be scanned using hash-matching technology to detect known child sexual abuse material. Any content that matches a known CSAM hash is blocked, reported to NCMEC as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, preserved for law enforcement, and associated with immediate account suspension. This reporting is mandatory under federal law.

We use automated content classification tools to assign uploaded content to the appropriate privacy tier (Public, Connected, or Private). This classification is performed for platform policy enforcement purposes and does not constitute editorial control over the substance of user content.

5. Compliance Contact

Records maintained by Aligned in connection with its compliance obligations, including account verification records, CSAM detection logs, NCMEC reporting records, and law enforcement cooperation records, are maintained in accordance with applicable law and available upon lawful request.
