Content Provider Agreement

This Content Provider Agreement ("Agreement") applies to all users of aligned ("Platform") who upload, post, or otherwise submit photos, videos, or any other media content ("Content"). By uploading Content to the Platform you affirmatively agree to all terms of this Agreement.

1. Age of Depicted Persons

You affirm that every person depicted in any Content you upload is at least 18 years of age. You must have verified the age of every depicted person prior to uploading. You must retain copies of age-verification records (such as government-issued photo identification) for any person you have depicted, and you must produce those records to aligned or to law enforcement upon request.

2. Consent of Depicted Persons

You affirm that every person depicted in any Content you upload has given their explicit, informed, and freely given consent, specific to each of the following:

Consent to be depicted in the Content.
Consent to public distribution — to allow the Content to be uploaded to and publicly displayed on the Platform.
Consent to download — to allow other users of the Platform to download the Content, where downloading is made available.

You must retain written records of the above consents for every depicted person and must be able to produce those records to aligned or to law enforcement upon request.

Consent must be ongoing. If a depicted person later withdraws consent, you are obligated to promptly request removal of the relevant Content by contacting compliance@alignedsocial.app.

3. Ownership and Rights

You affirm that you are either the original creator and owner of all Content you upload, or that you have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and share that Content on the Platform.

You grant aligned a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and deliver your Content solely as necessary to operate the Platform. You retain all underlying ownership rights.

4. Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload Content that:

Depicts any person under the age of 18 in a sexual or suggestive manner (CSAM)
Was obtained without the knowledge or consent of the depicted person
Depicts non-consensual sexual acts
Is a deepfake, AI-generated likeness, or synthetic depiction of a real person without their consent
Facilitates, promotes, or glorifies human trafficking or sexual exploitation
Violates any applicable law
Violates aligned's Community Guidelines

5. CSAM Reporting

aligned is legally required to report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. Any Content that is detected or reported as CSAM will be immediately removed and reported to NCMEC and law enforcement. Your account will be permanently terminated.

If you encounter any suspected CSAM on the Platform, report it immediately using the in-app reporting tool or by emailing safety@alignedsocial.app.

6. Content Review

All Content uploaded to the Platform is reviewed prior to publication to ensure it is legal and compliant with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and applicable standards. Content that does not pass review will be rejected and will not be published.

7. Consequences of Violations

Violation of this Agreement may result in:

Immediate removal of the offending Content
Temporary or permanent account suspension
Reporting to law enforcement and relevant authorities
Civil or criminal liability

8. Electronic Acceptance

By checking the "I agree" checkbox presented prior to your first upload, you electronically sign this Agreement. Your acceptance is timestamped and recorded in our systems as required by applicable law and payment processor compliance requirements.
